Our Dharma center undertakes to apply the ethical charter of FPMT centers<\/em> . <\/p>

1 – The five lay precepts<\/strong><\/p>

The Five Lay Precepts are the foundation of ethics for all individuals engaged in the performance of duties, responsibilities, or actions done on behalf of, or in connection with, the FPMT. The five basic rules are: don’t kill, don’t steal, don’t engage in sexual misconduct, don’t lie or take intoxicants. Intoxicants include alcohol, soft drugs and tobacco.<\/p>

2 – No discrimination<\/strong><\/p>

The FPMT organization does not discriminate in its programs, services, recruitment and volunteer opportunities, or for other activities or benefits, on the basis of race, ethnic or national origin, orientation emotional or sexual, marital status, age or disability.<\/p>

3 – No Harassment<\/strong><\/p>

The FPMT is committed to promoting a safe environment where everyone’s dignity is respected. Anyone who participates in activities related to the FPMT must escape any form of harassment, whether sexual, intimidation, aggression or other forms. of bullying. Everyone who comes into contact with the FPMT network should be treated with dignity and respect.<\/p>

4 – Relations with students<\/strong><\/p>

Sexual relations between Dharma teachers and students while a student is participating in a teaching, course or teacher’s retreat are prohibited; they are also strongly discouraged at all other times as long as a dharmic teacher-student relationship persists. Please refer below to the specific regulations for Dharma teachers. Others in positions of authority are also strongly discouraged from engaging in a relationship of a sexual nature in situations where there may be a real or perceived power imbalance. Similarly, no teacher, volunteer, staff member or other representative of the organizing center will make sexual advances to any of the participants during a teaching, course or retreat.<\/p>

5 – The right word<\/strong><\/p>

Those in positions of authority should avoid gossip, harsh or abusive language: Overheard conversations in which others are denigrated can have a negative impact on those involved in FPMT activities. Harsh or abusive language may also constitute harassment or intimidation.<\/p>

6 – Finances<\/strong><\/p>

All income and expenses of FPMT affiliates must be accounted for according to commonly accepted accounting principles. Money that has been donated for a particular project should be used for the project it was donated for, not for running costs or other projects. Proceeds from the sale of Dharma items should be used for Dharma purposes and not for operating costs.<\/p>

7 – Whistleblower protection<\/strong><\/p>

If any individual or group believes that a practice or activity within the FPMT organization is illegal and\/or contrary to this Code of Ethics, and raises their concern to the appropriate level of management or responsible person , that individual or group must be protected from reprisals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
